Punisher - War Zone trailer
This movie looks awful, and I feel that I am going to be hugely disappointed. The classic mistake to ever make when making a sequel is to change the star. The Punisher is someone completely different now and I think it will blow. The first one I definitely liked BECAUSE of who played The Punisher (Thomas Jane). John Travolta was really good in it also as a bad guy. Now you have all no name actors. Ugh! I’ll be surprised if this film makes even a hundred bucks. The only way I go see it is if someone paid my way in, but even then I’d have to get free popcorn or something. You tell me what you think….

why do producers feel the need to change the cast with a sequel? It never works! the only way they can recover is if they make it like a remake and not a sequel. In which case, remakes are never as good as the original.

Well, it’s NOT a sequel, it’s a re-boot which pays no attention to the TWO previous Punisher films. The film you are referring to was the second attempt, and for THAT movie they changed the star, too.
Third time is the charm? I’m counting on it!

I saw that trailer and I think it is violent and interesting, but I still feel it will be suicide making a punisher this close to the other one that has a different Frank Castle. It seems to be rather very violent and I don’t think that makes a movie good. I want to have a good plot and great acting.
In all honesty I want a phenomenal Punisher movie, and I should give this one a chance. Maybe It will blow up the box office, maybe it will just blow…. soon we will see.

In my opinion there is only one series that can swith up the main character, and that is James Bond.
My prediction, the Punisher will blow.
